Magnetic forces make the Northern Lights.
The way it works is that the Earths magnetic force is surrounded by the sunlight and the sunlight shines through the magnetic field like it's shining on a piece of glass and makes a rainbow in its reflection on a wall.
On the ice caps and Arctic/Antartic circles are where there is barely any of our magnetism forces on the poles of the north and the south is the Aurora Borealis.
