Magnetic forces make the Northern Lights.
The way it works is that the Earths magnetic force is surrounded by the sunlight and the sunlight shines through the magnetic field like it's shining on a piece of glass and makes a rainbow in its reflection on a wall.
On the ice caps and Arctic/Antartic circles are where there is barely any of our magnetism forces on the poles of the north and the south is the Aurora Borealis.
Be careful of those lights. I spontaneously asked Abby to marry me under them during a rare sighting of them in Illinois. So in this case, science could be wrong. They may actually be fueled by love!
